The Oral Facial Surgery Group was founded in Louisville, KY in 2007, when Dr. Brent Mortenson saw the need for a dental practice committed solely to oral surgery in his community. After completing his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery, Dr. Brent took care of patients with oral surgery needs at a general dental office. From his experience in the general dental office and seeing the needs of the patients he served, Dr. Mortenson started the Oral Facial Surgery Group. As the needs of the community grew, so did the Oral Facial Surgery Group. Now after nearly 10 years of serving patients, the group has 4 practices serving a variety of communities and helping patient receive oral surgery care that their general dentist cannot provide. While we do not get to see our patients as frequently as a general dentist does, we take pride in providing excellent care and getting to know each of our patients.
