Dr. Mortenson worked as an oral surgeon at his father’s, Dr. Wayne Mortenson, dental practice in Middletown, KY before he opened the Oral & Facial Surgery Group in 2007, as well as a second location in Frankfort in 2011. 

Dr. Mortenson believes in providing individualized care in a compassionate and safe environment. He has treated thousands of patients over the years and many say that it is his caring personality and kind nature that make him such a great oral surgeon.

Personal Background:

Dr. Mortenson and his wife, Erin, have four children, Kate, Laura, William and Grace. In his spare time, he likes to spend time with his family at Lake Cumberland.
